Welcome to Lipstick Road,
Hey there and welcome to my blog, Lipstick Road.
I'm Elsa, yep like the Queen in Frozen although I do not look like her at all (brown hair, brown eyes, short hair... you get the picture)! As you may have read on the little description box, I'm a 21 years old french student in marketing living in France. Fashion has always been a passion of mine, as well as beauty, even though I just recently discovered the amount of possibility and fun related to makeup. I'm totally addicted to lipsticks, especially the red shades, and I cannot tell you how much money I spent on lipstick (and makeup) this year. In fact, my passion for makeup and beauty grew this whole year when I left my home and family to move to Dublin to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Business studies, specialized in marketing *yay*. Anyway, I truly learnt a lot about myself during this past year but we'll talk about that in another post.
I created this blog because I have so many things running through my mind all the time, and being really shy, introvert and not very social, I must admit, writing has always helped me feeling better. I wanted to share my interests, my ideas, my passions and other little things and I thought that a blog was the best place to do so. I have a hard time talking to people, and sharing with other people in real life and I found it very hard finding people, who share the same interests as me.
Moreover, I suffer from social anxiety, and while I'm currently in the process of fighting this anxiety, I really believe that this blog can help me and hopefully help others. But again, we'll talk about that in another post.
So as you may have guessed from this post, and the first, very blank page, of Lipstick Road, this blog is about fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle. In fashion posts, I'll show you outfits, DIY ideas, new products that I recently purchased, which might happen often since I'm a real shopaholic... So if you are a shopaholic too, hi, nice to meet you and I hope we can help each others! In beauty posts, I'll show you makeup tutorials, but let's keep in mind I'm no expert, so be nice to me, please? I will also show you my "go-to" products, as well as my recent purchases. Finally in lifestyle, I'll try to post my recipes because I really like to bake and cook, and according to my family and friends I'm pretty good at it. I will also post my wish lists, my favorites of the months, and other posts a little more serious about anxiety, and insecurities etc.
Again, welcome! I really hope you enjoy the content of my blog and I also hope we can be friends. I'll "see" you in another blog post, really soon.
